Footprint Cutout Not Updating on Layout

I created a footprint with internal cutout at the center. However, when placing footprint on layout, it doesn't show the outline of footprint nor cutout. I've tried update symbol and still no changes on layout or 3D canvas.

    Hi Shannonlee,

can you check that whether you have added BOARD GEOMETRY >> CUTOUT ?

For the silk outline you have to select the Lines while opening 3D Canvas

    Hi JITHINDEV,

I checked that I was able to see the cutout of the footprint in the viewer.

When I check the PCB editor, it doesn't show up at all, only the Place_Bound_Top

View of the footprint drawing with cutout and pins, and right side is the 3D canvas showing cutout

3D canvas of the board, even when I removed view of components, the cutout doesn't show at all.

    Hello, Shannonlee

in the board BOARD GEOMETRY >> CUTOUT must work in footprint as well as your Layout file if added.

Additionally, the cut-out can be drawn directly in the Layout file (.brd file) itself.

Try that with BOARD GEOMETRY >> CUTOUT and add using shape tools.

NB:- The cutout must be appropriately updated during component movement.

You can create slot Non-plated using the padstack editor and place.
