Hi,

I am trying to retrieve the layer of a path segment to add to a report in SKILL.  Is there a retrieval command?

Thank for any assistance.

Terrie

    the 'path' object has the 'layer' attribute

    below is an example of  accessing it::

    \i (00:13:39) show element
    \i (00:13:41) setwindow form.find
    \i (00:13:41) FORM find clines YES
    \i (00:13:43) setwindow pcb
    \i (00:13:43) pick grid 4167.43 2149.37
    \t (00:13:43) last pick:  4165.00 2150.00
    \i (00:14:31) skill ClineObj=car(axlGetSelSet())
       (00:14:31) dbid:000000E9EC0DDE18
    \i (00:14:41) skill ClineObj->layer
       (00:14:41) "ETCH/TOP"
