Allegro free view setup - change mouse settings

RRMM
RRMM over 1 year ago

I am new to Allegro and I am trying to get the free viewer setup.

How do you change the mouse panning direction?

The default mouse setting is backwards to my thinking.

There does not seem to be an user setting in the menus so I assume the must be configuration file somewhere and some details/syntax on the settings available.

Can anyone educate me on getting setup?

There is a user preference in Allegro (Setup - User Preferences - UI - Input called designhdl_pan which controls the direction of the pan. The viewer will use these variables so if you can set that using Allegro the restart the Viewer you should get the desired result.

found it thanks to the full version of allegro. in free viewer cli, type : set designhdl_pan = 1
you might need to set that variable in the env file.
