License Use Issue

Hi

We are a team having 3 licenses. Sometimes, we experience that all the 3 licenses are locked up on a Single User even if they are using only 1 license.

So wondering what processes/applications under Task Manager should one look for to unrelease these licenses?

Would restarting the PC solve the issue? I feel there should be a more straight forward process to unlock all the licenses without going through Task Manager.

Last time it was Extracta application that was causing this issue, but not this time anymore.

I believe you can reset it by using the LMTOOLS utility but you need to have administrator priveledges

I can give it a try. What's the procedure?

    Start/StopServer or Re-read license file?

I am a single user so I dont know for sure but I would expect to stop the server wait for it to tell you that it has stopped then restart wait till it tells you it has restarted.

As far as I know that should do it  you may have to reread the license file

(I just have to reread the licence file if I have booted the pc without plugging the dongle in)

    Hope that helps
