need constraint formula to change etch length calculation of a specific layer

Hi,

I need to change the way the etch length is calculated for the relative delay table.  Is there a way to have the calculation of the top and bottom layers to be changed to top_etch_length/1.1 ?  I need the way the etch length is calculated in the relative propagation match groups to be - example:  (top/1.1) + IN1 + IN2 + (bottom/1.1) .

Thank you

Hi CharMcCauley, you would need a High-Speed license with Allegro PCB Designer or higher tool option to apply Advanced Constraints Formulas. The task you have described should be achievable using such formulas. See the image below; the option to add formulas to cells is added with this license. Can you confirm if your current tools are licensed for this feature?

It would be interesting to know the reasons behind your requirement. Perhaps you expect layer specific processing to reduce outer layer copper feature-size by 10% for example? Maybe this would be worth discussing.
