Bend Option id 3D Canvas is greyed out after creating my 2nd Bend in v22.1

I have a simple flex circuit with stiffeners on each end. The final path for the flex in the end application goes through a lot of bending (8 bends in total). I can easily define my 3D anchor point and my 1st bend. When I go into the 3D canvas I can bend it as expected. However, the moment I add my 2nd bend, the bend option in the 3D canvas is greyed out. Why? The bends do not overlap or interfere with each other in any way. I've played with the location of the 3D anchor point and that doesn't seem to help. Zone 1 and 2 are the stiffener regions and Zone 3 is where all the bends are to happen.

I've finally figured it out after down rev'ing the design to v17.2. It at least pops up with a dialog box saying the anchor point should be inside the region instead of on the border. v22.1 has no such dialog. Changed the anchor point to be inside Zone 3 and the bend option is available again in the 3D canvas.
