3D View: Via shows it is covered with Dynamic Copper

Hi,

I have a Via that connects to a dynamic copper shape. The 3D View shows that the via will be covered in copper. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Below is an image of what happens when the dynamic copper bisects the via.

    Hi tcapuanomdt, this is a known scenario in the current 3D canvas tool. In fact, this issue will be resolved when a thermal tie is added to the plated hole. Another workaround for 3D presentation images is to disable the shape layer and make soldermask layer visible which gives a nice 3D surface view: 

    In fact this issue is already resolved in the new 3DX tool, which is the newest 3D interface that comes with OrCADX and AllegroX. If you are using an OrCADX or AllegroX installation and/or licensing, then you will find the icon for this 3D tool right next to the current canvas icon. ( pictured here.)
