Designing Reliable PCBs for Space Applications

RohitRohan

Hai Community,

Below is the Cadence link for how to handle high voltage in vacuum conditions as it is crucial to use materials with high dielectric strength, along with techniques like via stitching and conformal coatings for added insulation and reliability. For reliable data transmission in such environments, employing high-frequency laminates, controlled impedance traces, and differential pair routing is essential. Additionally, space-grade materials such as polyimide, ceramics, and high-Tg FR-4 should be selected to ensure durability and performance in extreme temperatures, providing resilience against the harsh conditions typically encountered in space applications.
