How to Add via array for oblong shapes pad

To add a via array around an oblong-shaped pads-
1 Go to Place>Via Array command.
2 Enable Pins in the Find filter.
3 In the Options panse, set the Array parameters type to 'Surrounding' and set other parameters.
4 Click on the oblong pad to see the preview of the via array.
5 Once you are fine with the pattern shown, click anywhere on the design canvas to place the via array around the oblong pad selected.

The via array is not displaying as I expected, what should I do?

When you click on the oblong pad to see the preview of the array, and if the pattern is not as you are expecting it to be, then you can change the parameters in the options pane as per your requirement, and after that you can see if it as per your expectation.
