Hi,

I copied part of the design from one project to another. When i try to now clean up this copied module to suit my new design i get a command message that the connected line has property LOCKED. But when i check the properties edit i dont see a LOCKED property applied.

I also dont see a "DELETE" option on the cline. See below picture. How can i edit a module that has been placed from a .mdd format. ?

    HI PK.

It looks to me that the created module has the locked property so it cant be edited. To see what exactly is locked in your find filter uncheck everything then check "Groups"
hover over the module so it can be selected as a group. Then do an info on the group. In the list look for Locked. This will show you the element or elements that are locked.
Make a note of the elements that are locked.

More than likely you will have to open the module in the symbol editor and make the changes so as to remove the locked property then save that mdd file back out.

    Best regards.

    Hi PK,

This is the default behavior when placing a Module, to prevent un wanted editing of the circuit.

You can turn this of by set the User Preference "disable_module_auto_lock"

Or, as Excellon1 suggested, remove the lock property on the module group.

    /Johan

Thank you ! I filtered under groups then right click and used the "disband group" option. I can now delete and edit individual clines. Thank you guys !
