W11 compatibility 17.4,-22.1,-23.1-24.1 ?

Microsoft is suggesting that I should upgrade my workstation running SPB products to W11, 24H2. The computer is compatible, both CPU and TPM.

Since I have customers using versions all the way back to 17.4, and I have all subsequent versions installed and since W10 will be out of support I realize the upgrade will have to take place sooner or later. I have previously updated other computers "in situ" and all those upgrades went well even if it took MS several hours to complete.

I have read the readme-files all the way back to 17.4 and all versions with hotfixes are W11 officially compatible but are "Ouches" to be aware of that has to be fixed by Cadence before attempting an upgrade?

Hi Ulf K, I can say that I upgraded to Windows 11 back in early September. I have OrCAD/Allegro 17.4 on my machine (and I installed 24.1 recently.) I have no issues running 17.4 tools since the changeover and did not need to reinstall this since changing. I am having more issues running internet browsers and messaging programs such that Allegro appears much more stable by comparison. Hopefully others have had a similar experience.
