Cadence SPDLinks does not load brd file

Hi,

I use Cadence sigrity to extract PCB. When I use Sigrity SPDLinks to translate .brd file to .spd file, I found there is no option for .brd file. Does that mean it cannot translate .brd file to .spd? I could not attach any screenshots to this post but I can email the screenshots to help debug the issue.

Sigrity tools will have Load Layout File link in the Workflow which will allow an Allegro BRD file to be loaded and create an SPD file.

Hi Oldmouldy,

But in the PCB placement files selection area, there is no .brd option inside. There is no Cadence Brd files selection as well. Please double check. I could not attach screenshot here for some errors. If you give me a email, I can send you the screenshot for this bug.

There is no option to convert PCB Editor BRD files to SPD files with SPDLinks because the Sigrity tools will load BRD files from the Workflows in the tools, specifically from the Load Layout File link.
