How can I void multiple static shapes (like 500 or so) with 1 shape?

I can void 1 shape with another, but I can't select multiple shapes and void with 1 single shape. At this point I'm manually changing it, but I'd like to know if there's a more automatic way of doing it.

Try this as an alternate method. 
 1 Change those shapes from static to dynamic. 
 2 Add a "route Keepout" to the layer your shapes are on. For example if the shapes are on the top layer add a shape as a route keepout on that layer that covers the shapes you wish to clear. 3 The route keepout will void the shapes !
