How can I change all text blocks to 64?

Hi,

I'm currently downgrading my Allegro project from version 24.1 to 17.4.

However, I'm encountering an issue with text blocks — not all of them can be changed to block 64, which is causing the downgrade process to fail.

Has anyone experienced this issue or know a workaround to ensure all text blocks are compatible with version 17.4?

Thanks,

Boris.

Try going to Setup - Design Parameters - Text tab, then click on the ... next to Setup Text Sizes. This lists all the text sizes you have in the design. Now use the Compact button. This will remove any text blocks that you aren't using. This usually then allows you to downrev the design.

    Hi Steve,
Thank you for your reply. I was able to successfully save the file, but I still can't open it using Allegro 17.4—it shows the following screen.
Do you know if there's anything else that needs to be adjusted?
    Thank you.

Did you downrev the design first? Export - More - Downrev design (in OrCAD) or File - Export - Downrev design (in Allegro) then choose to save as 17.4.
