copying pins on symbols

hello

 

is there a way to copy pins on symbols on a dra file?

i can move and delete pins but i can not copy pins on a dra file.

    What makes you think you can't copy pins? Open the dra file then Edit - Copy, check the find filter and ensure Pins are enabled then choose the pins and they are attached to your mouse ready to place. You will need to renumber the pins you copy though which you can do through Edit - Text

    thank u for ur ressponse, steve.

     

    yes, ur method works fine. 

      

    but i usually select the object first and then perform the copy and any other commands.

     

    the copy function does not work on pins if the pins selected first.

    what prevents me from doing this?

    Probably a methodogly thing. I would say the hover right click method including copy might be quite risky because of what you want to do especially if you did this by accident. Having to invoke the copy command is a very specific thing to do, At least you can do it :-).
