DB Doctor error, thanks

OE202506016519
OE202506016519 2 months ago

Hi, I was trying to open a .brd file sent by my colleague with Allegro (version 24.1), and then it  reported an error that this file was saved as version 16.6 last time, and needed to be updated with db doctor, so I opened db doctor. The "Input design with extention" was 'D:/Program Files/165k3g_81100257_Falcon_ProbeBoard_V02_20240416b.brd', and "output design" was 'C:/Users/86199/Desktop/165k3g_81100257_Falcon_ProbeBoard_V03_20240416b.brd' . But when I click on "check", it reported error and the information of error log was

Performing UPREV on the database - D:/Program Files/165k3g_81100257_Falcon_ProbeBoard_V02_20240416b.brd
================================================================================
Performing dbdoctor16 to bring DB up to REV16
------------------------------ Terminal Output ---------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: Uprev of revision to REV16 found errors.
================================================================================
Performing dbdoctor17 to bring DB up to REV17
------------------------------ Terminal Output ---------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: Uprev of revision to REV17 found errors.
ERROR: Uprev of design failed.

Looking forward to your soution. Thanks a lot !

    Hey Oswald. Can you share the contents of dbdoctor.log? We've done some tests at our end and it seems like dbdoctor 24.1 should be able to handle the uprev directly from 16.6. Maybe this is database-specific and there is some kind of corruption?

    ...

    I tried, it doesn't work though. But actually the effect of text is the same as that of images.
