conductor length report

masamasa
masamasa 2 months ago

hello

is there a way to include the via length into the condcutor length report?

i get the same length on nets a and b on the conductor length report.

net a is routed on layer L2 whereas net b is routed on layer L3.

so the length from pad x to pad y should be different on nets a and b.

regards

masa

I think you might need to use the High Speed Option license to get that functionality in the constraints, not sure about if that license will help the reports...

I just updated some custom reporting skill code to include the via z-axis length with the route lengths, below is a transcript of running it:

    skill load "net_report.ils"
    t
    net_report
    Select a net...
    last pick: -1.48 0.35
    (100.000000:0.000000) pin C2.1 ETCH/TOP ETCH/TOP
    100.000000 mils cline ETCH/TOP
    (0.000000:0.000000) pin C1.1 ETCH/TOP ETCH/TOP
    Net NETA Length 100.000000

    Select a net...
    last pick: -0.47 -36.08
    (0.000000:-35.000000) pin C1.2 ETCH/TOP ETCH/TOP
    63.140000 mils (0.000000:-35.000000) via V_C20P10 ETCH/TOP ETCH/BOTTOM
    100.000000 mils cline ETCH/BOTTOM
    63.140000 mils (100.000000:-35.000000) via V_C20P10 ETCH/TOP ETCH/BOTTOM
    (100.000000:-35.000000) pin C2.2 ETCH/TOP ETCH/TOP
    Net NETB Length 226.280000
