Unexpected Schematic Page Change After Using Allegro Placement in OrCAD X 24

VKPA

I am currently using OrCAD X Version 24.1-2024-S006. I encountered this strange issue.

Whenever I use Allegro Placement to place a component while working on a specific schematic page (e.g., page 2), the schematic view automatically switches to a different page after placement.

This behavior interrupts the workflow. Could this be a known bug, or is there a setting I should check to prevent the page from changing automatically after placement?

Please advise.

Thank you!

    Hi VKPA,

I was wondering if you could share the schematic tool you're currently working on.

This issue with hierarchical designs has been reported to Cadence. No timescale for a correction.
