Query on Unrouted Connections DRC

WG20250730781

I have a query about unrouted connections DRC.

A square pin is GND. It has a square keepout region surrounding it. It connects to the surrounding GND by using a shape belonging to the GND net. However, the DRC doesn't detect this and still classifies it as an unrouted connection.

Is there no way to resolve this error other than to physically route a line connect?

You have a keep-out region on the pin. Is this a route keep-out?

Is the ground shape actually touching the pin? If not, the pin center must be touching the shape or traces connected from the plane to the pin to make the connection.

Are you trying to create thermal relief on the pin connection? If so, delete the keep-out region and edit the pin property to change the connection type, or change all through hole pin to shape connections in the shape parameters.

Not sure if I understand, but I hope this helps.
