Remove all non-source files

I am very new to Cadence software. Something I am noticing is that it creates automatically tens of files alongside the source files that are logs, .jrl, .tag (?), etc. I would like to delete everything except the source files and, if possible, configure the software such that all these additional files are created somewhere else and not in my source directory.

Very few files you can specify the folder for and you'll be able to config this here (it'll affect .log files and the .jrl file):

In general, you'll be able to turn them on/off.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the lock file, there's a variable you can use:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You might also want to set these ones to zero:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And if you have any autosave set up, the first folder of this category is where you deactivate it. This should take care of pretty much all files but only deactivating them.
