WARNING(ORCAP-2445)

I am working on a master library file so that I only have to add one file to PSpice projects, however it seems that OrCAD cannot see the files in the master library.

If I copy the individual files, there are no errors.

Has anyone run across this issue or a solution?

Posted to the wrong forum which didn't help. Anyway, can you confirm the exact version that you are running? And are you adding entries to your own LIB file following the layout of the nom.lib to reference other LIB files?

That's weird, I could swear that I put this in the Capture/PSpice forum, hopefully a mod can move it.

I have this issue in 24.1 and 25.1

Yes, I have a master.lib file with entries like this.

    .lib "LR_E67F.01.lib"
    .lib "MCR10EZPF.lib"
    .lib "KR_DMLQ32_23.lib"
    .lib "GRM155R71H104KE14.lib"
I have tried fully defined paths, relative paths, and no paths, with no difference.
I have tried every path setting I could find, I'm sure there is probably one buried in some random .ini file that I missed though.

You need to report this to Cadence, either directly or through your Cadence Channel Partner. From what I can tell, the simulator will find models from a LIB file like this but neither Online DRCs, nor Edit PSpice Model, in Capture will find the model.
