Getting a list of layers

archive
archive over 18 years ago

I need to turn off all of the layers except the wirebond layers.  The problem is, I don't know from design to design how many wirebond layers there are.  I need a way to find out all of the wirebond layer names and then be able to turn off all except those.
I believe there is a "Bondwire" attribute that can be assigned to these layers, but I'm not sure if these layers will consistantly have this attribute.

I appreciate your help in advance, thanks,
Mark

The Skill command "axlDBGetLayerType" will tell you if a layer is a "BONDING_WIRE" vs "CONDUCTOR" vs "DIELECTRIC" etc. If you check each CONDUCTOR or ETCH subclass you can build a list of just the bondwire layers and then set/reset the visibility using that list.
