Get drill info and make graphics

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Problem:
I don't like the dynamic nature of nclegend "hole graphics". I want the graphics to be present as a static object.
I'm looking at a possible skill solution
No problem getting the drill info.
No problem drawing stuff like circles on a u-defined subclass.
The tricky part (for a rank amateur like me):
Have the newly drawn circle be associated (rubber-banded) to a parent pin object.
Any suggestions (or complete skill routine!) appreciated.

It is possible to add a custom drill figure using the undocumented command _axlncDBCreateFigure.
However, that won't help you solve the rubber-banding problem.

I don't think you can use a pin as a parent when using axlDBCreate commands but I might be wrong.

    Cheers, Dave
