How to Place Parts using SKILL code?

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hi All,

May I know the SKILL command to place a mechanical part into an opened .brd file.?
( since it is a mechanical part, it doesnt have any connections so I dont need to change my schematic, just need to place it at a position 0,0 in my .brd file)

Also, if I want to add a non mechanical part. How do I update the schematic using SKILL code?

Thanks,
Newbie
