Hi All:

We cannot figure out why this works for some users, but not others ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Les

procedure( test()
test = axlDMDirectoryBrowse(getWorkingDir(), nil, ?title "Pick a padstack library directory")
axlUIConfirm(sprintf(nil "Directory selected: %s", test))

    Les,

    Your code works without issues for me in 16.6, I'm just guessing that your variable 'test' isn't declared locally, so it's assumed to be a global variable, which may be an issue

    below is a cleaner solution:

    procedure(test()
    let((test)
    (test = (axlDMDirectoryBrowse getWorkingDir() nil ?title "Pick a padstack library directory"))
    (axlUIConfirm sprintf(nil "Directory selected: %s" test))
    )
    )
