skill functionList in notepad++ not working after new install

HJerry

I had my laptop re-imaged and had to re-install notepad++.

I saved my functionList.xml file and placed it back into AppData/roaming, but I don't see the functions in the functions list.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

Thanks,

Jerry

    2 option s

    1. Move to Visual Studio Code and check the instructions I provided, you will get all the features

    2. Don't update Notepad++/Downgrade notepad++

    I faced the same situation and currently I am in version 7.5.6 and it works (uninstall and reinstall the older version)

    They changed the way new functionList behaves, you need to create custom mappers and I tried many times to modify and gave up.

    but the visual studio code is very good and poerful, i still use notepad++ for cross verification while i develop in code.
