Skill.exe - Cadence(R) Design Framework II license feature of "111"

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to create a comunnication between cadence allegro (17.2,17.4) and Python.

Process : Cadence wait text from python. execute skill code when text receive. Cadence is not hold while listening Python.

Skill Language/Python language

I found a lot of things, more easier than other, but one make me rly curious.

C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2_s083\tools\dfII\bin/skill.exe

When i run this skill.exe on commande promp windows, this message is written :

*ERROR* (DB-320001): Unable to get the Cadence(R) Design Framework II license feature of "111"

Could you confirm for me the need for a "111" license to use Skill.exe?
Also, do you have got any code that i want do ?

Hello Maxime N , skill.exe needs the Virtuoso license to run standalone. Can you check your license file and see if you have any of these license features IC6.1.8, IC23.1, ICADVM18.1 and ICADVM20.1 software?
