Using Skill to route clines?

Is it possible to do basic routing with Skill? I want to be able to place a straight cline from a user defined point to the edge of an area (this would be part of a module so it's not necessarily board or design space edge). The idea is if my design area is 10000 x 10000 mils I click a via (500,500) and a cline is placed from that point to (10000, 500). I am not familiar with the language and don't want to devote resources to learning it if it can't do what I'm looking for. Is this something that could be done?

Yes. Such basic routing is as simple as a single command:

    axlDBCreateLine(list(500:500 1000:500), width, netname)

where width is the width and netname are variables.
