Implementing a selection tool in SKILL (mimicking Allegro)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to SKILL and trying to implement something similar to Allegro's built-in selection tool (like the screenshot below).

Could you provide guidance on how to approach this? A complete code example would be extremely helpful if possible.
