How to run batch IDX files

Has anybody sucessfully exported a IDX file using the external EXE that came with the install . -> see the code below which ,... doesnt work . 


file_name = axlCurrentDesign()
whole_board_name = strcat(file_name ".brd")
working_directory = getWorkingDir()
all_of_it = strcat(working_directory "/" whole_board_name)
whole_idx_command = strcat(all_of_it -o base ")

exe_path = "C:/Cadence/SPB_22.1/tools/bin/idx_out.exe"
;C:\Cadence\SPB_22.1\tools\bin so this is where that idx_out.exe is .


; so its not a shell command its a exe command you need to do .


axlRunBatchDBProgram(exe_path whole_idx_command)

; so this doesnt work .
