How to iterate through all the components and get all the properties using TCL scripting?

I am trying to make a report and trying to process information based on that.

Is there any example which will tell how to iterate through all the components in the schematic file and GetProperty of the component..?

I know we can generate reports using OrCAD itself, but I want to do more in TCL script in the future.. So I need TCL scripting Slight smile

In the TclTk Extensions guide there is a lot of sample code, and how to iterate through pages and schematics is covered there (sections 3.2.7 and 3.2.9 in this version - in the SPB172 installation this can be found at tools/capture/tclscripts/OrCAD_Capture_TclTk_Extensions.pdf)

I updated the previous post to not refer to a copy of the document on the internet as this is being published violating Cadence copyright. Instead, it is shipped in the SPB172 (and other SPB versions - it's in SPB174 too in the same place) installation.

BTW, I am not an Orcad user - I responded here because Minet's post came through to moderation because of the external link.
