Why to use Allegro System Capture - Architecture Block diagram

The design process begins with the creation of an architectural block diagram that depicts the overall functionality of the system. This is used as a reference for creating the detailed design and represents how the design is organized.

Drawing a process flow diagram in System Capture is a simple activity. System Capture has different shapes, arrows, and drawing objects using which you can create a system or functional block diagram. System Capture also supports multiple image formats to import pictures from other tools.

To create a block diagram, instantiate blocks on the canvas and connect them using different drawing objects to show the connectivity. Double-click on the block to add a logical name.

You can format the block diagram as per your requirement and change the color, font, text size, and so on. You can also adjust the transparency of the images.

After final changes, the block diagram is shown below.
