SysCap – Tip of the Week: Integrated Layout Viewer

System Capture has an integrated design environment, where you can view a layout file that is created when you export a schematic to the physical layout by using the Export to PCB Layout option.

Enable the PCB Layout option by using the Project Explorer settings icon.

Select the board file and right-click and open the board file in a new tab.

The integrated layout viewer supports cross probing with System Capture. For more details, refer to our earlier post on Cross-Probe.
