SysCap – Tip of the Week: Using Legacy Custom Variables

Custom variables are used to pass certain text information in the design like design name, sheet number, and so on. When you migrate your existing DE-HDL or Capture designs into System Capture, you want to see custom variables in the page border or title block of the migrated design.

In System Capture, the values for all such legacy custom variables can be defined in Edit > Preferences > Customer Variables.
