Why to use Allegro System Capture – Assigning Implicit Global Power Pins

When working with large pin count parts, one of the approaches you take is to make power and ground pins of components as implicit pins. That is, these pins are invisible pins and cannot be connected to the required power nets physically. This makes the schematic symbol more legible and provides free space to add other pins.

The next question that comes to mind is how to connect implicit power pins with the required power supplies.

In System Capture, you can assign power rails to implicit pins from Pin Table in the Properties pane.
