What are the different ways to share a design?

With teams located globally, different functions/blocks of the schematic design are captured by multiple teams. At times, legacy design modification is required and is to be taken up by remote teams. Such scenarios require a design to be shared among other designers seamlessly.

One of the common challenges when sharing a design is the inclusion of schematic libraries with the design file. If any of the libraries are missing, you may see problems like missing symbols on the schematic, parts out of sync, and so on.

How do you prefer to share a design?

1. Zip and share the design folder and libraries.
2. Archive the design.
3. Zip and share the design folder, assuming that all users have access to a common reference library.
4. Using a team design platform.
5. Any other approach.
