How to extract libraries from a schematic?

At times, you share designs among team members who do not have access to the reference libraries of parts placed in the design. Or while working on legacy designs, the parts used in the design no longer exist in the central library.

It may be required to modify an existing symbol used in the design for reasons like part is now obsolete and an alternate part number is to be used, property or attribute needs to be updated, and so on.

In the absence of part libraries, it becomes challenging to modify and reuse the existing symbols in the design.

One option is to archive the design and create a library of parts used in the design. What are the other ways to extract part libraries from an existing design?

We look forward to hearing from you.

I also have this question, but judging from the 8 months of crickets on OP's post, I'm probably wasting my time here.   Any update?
