Enhanced Variant Editor – Create and Manage Functions

Starting 23.1 release, System Capture offers the capability to create functions and include them into variants, define alternate parts, and cross-probe components from Variant Editor to the schematic and vice versa.

Launch Variant Editor, select the Define Functions tab and click on the Create Function icon.

Select the required components and add them to the function.

To cross probe from Variant Editor to the schematic, right-click on the component and select Highlight.
