ASC can not open .cpm file

Gelzone
Gelzone 2 months ago

I got an archive file from my customers but I can't open the .cpm file in it.

I can't upload the message image due to my company's policy.

It shows: The '<my .cpm file path>' project cannot be opened because it is not an Allegro System Capture project. after I open it.

=====

The context I can give is that the archive was provided by the customers and they used their library to "sync" this project.

Due to the information security, we are not going to link to the customer side to access data.

Is there any way to fix it?

=====

Note.

I also get a .sdax file of it and it can be opened without error. So I think the file structure is complete and undamaged.

Different Pulse platform may cause this issue?

    Have you tried opening it with another Schematic tool, like DE-HDL?

    I found there is no "project_creator 'syscap'" in the .cpm file.
    After I add this line, the project can be opened.
    But I don't exactly know why.
