How do I swap pins in a multi-section part in System Capture

Dear all,

with SWAP_INFO property which enables you to swap pins with the same PIN_GROUP property across different sections within a logical group in DE HDL. But it seems doesn't work in System capture. Does anybody know how could man swap the pins across sections in system capture schema?

    Across sections pins can be swapped on layout. However, these changes can't be brought back to System capture schematic.

    Within same section, it is supported from back to front (Allegro PCB Editor to System capture) and the procedure is same, Pins within same PIN_GROUP can be swapped with each other.

    many thanks for your reply and further info.

    Currently we have the issue the DE HDL Design in System capture imported but after Update in Layout the pins which swapped across sections will be lost. And this is not possible to keep this pins even backwards to schema. 

    i realized this issue is reported by Allegro® X System Capture: Known Problems and Solutions Product Version 25.1, September 2025

     

    Are there any plan from cadence to define a property like SWAP_INFO in order to fix this issue?
