Hey, I've already built the padstacks and copper layout for a custom part (an inverted-F antenna element) as a footprint in the PCB library. Now I need to create the matching schematic symbol so I can place it on my schematic page and have it map to that existing footprint. What I've checked so far: File > New only offers Project, Block, Footprint, and Template based footprint — there's no "Symbol" option. Place menu has Component, Wire, Bus, Special Symbols, Schematic Block, Abstract Component, etc. — nothing for creating a brand-new symbol from scratch. Tools menu has Generate BOM, Launch PCB Editor, Cadence Unified Library Generator, and Part Manager. I tried a few menus but none worked for me. Any help is appreciated.
