how to copy or duplicate a schematic page?

Hi,

In my design I have a schematic page that I'd like to use as a basis for another page in the same design. In the manuals I cannot find a description of how to get two copies of this page in the design. I have poked around in the tool and can't a way either.

I am using allegro design entry hdl.

Thank you.

Can't you just do a file- save as and save it to the next page? Or open a blank page do a group and window the whole page and a copy and drag it into the blank page?

Thank you! File - save as (overwriting a newly inserted blank page in the design) did the trick.

Copy and paste wasn't working because the contents of the  page I was copying occupied the entire available space of the page and pasting had to be done with absolute single pixel accuracy or the paste would fail because some of the contents would be outside the allowable bounds.

You should look into genview and blocks, genview generates a hierarchical block you and duplicate and blocks I know of but am not too familiar with. There's lots of documentation on this stuff.
