Allegro Design Entry HDL: how to zoom with mouse scroll only (i.e. without pressign Ctrl)?

This is driving me mad.  One half of the software for PCB layout I zoom with the mousewheel but the other half in DEHDL I have to press CTRL.

No one wants to scroll vertically up and down schematics! There has to be some way to set up DEHDL to zoom with mousewhhel without pressing CTRL?

Making a pattern with my mouse every time I want to zoom in and out is insane though? Surely this is not the only solution and there is just an easy user preference to change…? (Why would this not be the case?!?)

Agreed! Using the strokes thing needs 5 separate actions. Press mouse button, move mouse right, move mouse diagonally down and left, move mouse right, release mouse button.

Mice have had scroll wheels for at least 20 years now. 'strokes' seems like someone had a fun coding project making it but I don't see it as a feature with any real use.

Yes I'm with you. Do let me know if you've found a solution for this because I have not as of yet.
