Dark mode/theme

Hi, I'm using DE-HDL but my eyes are being melted out of my skull by staring at a bright white screen all day.

Are we any closer to having an easily selectable dark theme? Or is there some hack I can do somewhere?

It's not 1994 anymore, I think we're all over the novelty of having the computer screen look just like it does on a printed document now.

Seriously, I've had two migraines this week so far, I crave the darkness.

    Try switching to black background color. Go to DE-HDL menu Tools > Options. Select the Color tab and choose Background Color as Black.

    Everything else is still bright but it is better than nothing for sure. Thanks.

    I was misled because the "Apply" button in that dialogue box doesn't work.

    I change the colour, click Apply and nothing changes. I have to click OK and close the dialogue box before the background colour actually changes.

    The UI on this software is truly awful.
