Non-electrical symbol added in HDL?

Is there a method for adding a non-electrical symbol to an HDL schematic such that it gets passed on to board layout (Allegro). We are interested in getting tooling and non-plated holes into the layout in this way - especially in a manner where the IDX file that the mechanical engineer provides would be able to place the non-electrical symbol.

In order to create mechanical parts to be used in HDL-Allegro flow, you can use Part developer (PDV). 
 A mechanical part with the correct footprint can be passed to the Allegro PCB Editor netlist by defining the CLASS property on it. 
 To do this, use the following steps: 
 
 Open the mechanical part in Part Developer. 
 Select the package and go to the General tab. 
 Set Class to MECHANICAL as shown below:

Assign a PCB footprint to the mechanical part. 
 Save the part. 
 Open the design in DE-HDL and do File > Export Physical . 
 Import the logic/netlist in the PCB Editor and you will have mechanical parts available for placement.
