in Allegro design entry HDL, "add a component" : footprint does not exist for that part

Hello,

In 17.2 version, when loading a component inside design entry HDL, all symbol and footprint were linked.

Since 17.4, no footprint exist. However, they are localized precisely in Jedec directories and so on.

So there is a missing link in the configuration.

How to acceed to environment variables ? Are they inside .cpm, login, or inside the project ?

What is also the general idea about cs.lib, who are distributed inside disk in a not understandable fashion ?

Thanks in advance for help

All properties related to part and footprints are generally defined inside Part table file. i.e..ptf file

See if ptf is mentioned inside your project .cpm file or not? if not, you need to add ptf to your project setup.

To access environment variable, you can apply following command in windows command prompt:

    set > C:\env.txt

General idea about cds.lib: when we create any project in DEHDL, cds.lib file also gets created. This file consists of all the paths of the libraries mapped to project or through the site. For more info about how libraries are managed in DEHDL project, you can refer the following link on Cadence online support portal:
