What is the supported workflow for creating complete DE-HDL parts in 24.1? Is there a replacement launcher or additional installation component?

  • RHEL 8.10; SPB 24.1 S008.
  • Existing shared, file-based DE-HDL libraries configured through cds.lib.
  • syscap launches successfully with PCB_librarian_expert checked out.
  • Library Explorer offers only Symbols; Add opens Create New Schematic Model.
  • pdv and pdv.exe exist in 17.4 and 22.1, but were not found in the 24.1 installation or its installed package file lists.
  • Ask: What is the supported workflow for creating complete DE-HDL parts in 24.1? Is there a replacement launcher or additional installation component?
