New net name for a shape

Hello,

Is there a way I can creat a shape and add a new net name to it?  One that does not exist in the net name list that were imported from Capture.

I'm using Orcad PCB Designer version 16.0

  • You can go into Logic (pull down) and create a new netname. With that you can name the shape with that net. I'm just not sure, once you read in a new netlist (that doesn't have that net) whether the shape will revert to "unnamed". Have to try it.
