New net name for a shape

gonuclear

Hello,

Is there a way I can creat a shape and add a new net name to it?  One that does not exist in the net name list that were imported from Capture.

I'm using Orcad PCB Designer version 16.0

Thanks

You can go into Logic (pull down) and create a new netname. With that you can name the shape with that net. I'm just not sure, once you read in a new netlist (that doesn't have that net) whether the shape will revert to "unnamed". Have to try it.

     Good day.
