Issue with Allegro PCB

I get the following error when I try to do an update symbol command:

refresh_symbol

Program has encountered a problem and must exit.  The database will be saved (if applicable).  Obtain the latest software from Cadence and if the problem persists contact Cadence Customer Support.

I thought it was because some of my components were "fixed", but I have restarted the program and tried it again.  I tried it with all my components and with just one, and I get the same error.

 I think I have the latest version (16.1 p004 (v16-1-53D)

Go to Tools > Database check > click Check button > File > Save.  Type reopen in command line to reopen the design.  Now try update symbols.

    Hi

I would highly recommend you download the latest hotfix from Sourcelink.

You are running the base release. The latest hot fix is dated August 25 2008.

    Regards,

    BillZ
