In PCB Editor go into Add - Text then select an area on the screen (ensure you have selcted which layer you want the text to go onto). Click on the screen as if you were about to type then right click Read from file and browse to your text file. You will need to convert your word doc to a plain text file.

What is the special formating that has to go in the file?  Every time I try this, I get "The text line extends beyond the drawing extents" which I interpret as the the tool not understanding that my file has multiple lines.

PCB Editor will not recognise "wrap round" in your text file. Either add hard returns into your text file or increase the size of your design areas.
